I Feel Like Dancing Tonight

Everyone knows I love music, and who doesn't love a good concert?! Summer and fall were full of great shows, fun venues, and even better friends!
Neon Trees: July 18, California State Fair (Sacramento)

Fair concerts are the best because they're essentially free! Neon Trees is one of mine and BF's new favorites, so we were super excited to see them at the California State Fair when I was visiting!

Boise Music Festival: July 23, Julia Davis Park (Boise)

A perfect roommate date...sunshine, music, and day drinking! We didn't watch many of the bands that day, mostly just watched people and enjoyed a day in the beautiful Boise sun.

All Time Low: August 17, The Knitting Factory (Boise)

While J. and I say we "share a brain" when it comes to most things, music is a passion for both of us and All Time Low is an all time favorite. We started out with happy hour before the concert and ended up meeting the bass player Zack, who bought us both drinks! The concert was amazing, as usual, with opening groups The Cab and Mayday Parade (other favorites!). We ended up meeting back up with Zack for drinks after the show and had a perfect night to end the summer. The next morning however...was not so fun...

Eric Church: August 23, Western Idaho Fair (Boise)

A and I are ultimate fair buddies...it was only fitting we see Eric Church together at the fair! Complete with corn dogs and lemonade of course. If he wasn't already a new favorite, he solidified it after this concert! Fingers crossed for new music soon.
Taylor Swift: September 3, HP Pavilion (San Jose)

I flew to California for Labor Day weekend to see BF, but also for this!! C. and I bought our tickets almost a year in advance...and have been counting down ever since. We both got some weird looks when we told others it was just the two of us going to this concert together, but our love-hate-sibling-rivalry-best-friend relationship is absolutely perfect! Especially in our plaid shirts and "cheesy for T-Sweezy" smiles.

Zac Brown Band: September 15, Taco Bell Arena (Boise)

Taco Bell is the perfect venue...because we can walk from my house! Me, A., K. and J. made a date out of it. Even though we didn't really know much of their music, we still had a good time! Another plus side of the location? Pie Hole on the walk home.

Dierks Bentley: November 16, Idaho Center (Nampa)

Honestly the selling point for this concert was that Eli Young Band was the opener...I might love them even more than Dierks! Of course they were both amazing and made for a fun 3rd concert for us girls to go to.

Let's see if the next concert can top this one!
