Almost Easy

Every year, I decide I love fall more and more. Pretty soon I think it might actually be my favorite season. When I crave something pumpkin-y or cinnamon and spicy, you can bet pinterest will help me out with delicious recipes.

I adore pumpkin cookies...any time of year. But especially in the fall! This recipe is from skinnytaste (here), so I like to pretend these cookies aren't thaaattt bad for you. Right?!

When I first saw a pin for Caramel Apple Spice Milky Way Cookies my first thought was "WHAT?! Caramel Apply Milky Ways exist??" And they really do! I had to check a couple stores, but finally found them at Shopko. I gave this recipe out to a few friends because everyone loved them. Cinnamon spice cookies with chunks of real apples and a Caramel Apple Milky Way in the middle. To. Die. For. The Domestic Rebel kicked this one out of the park. (recipe here)

In true pinterest fashion, you never stop once you start. After finding new recipes I just had to find a new craft! Boise State Football is every one's favorite fall addiction here...and I found a tutorial for these suuuper cute game day ribbon wreathes! (tutorial from Tater Tots and Jello here, inspiration from She's Kinda Crafty here). I thought it turned out so good! We kept it up outside for months.

The wreathe was my last project of the fall. I had every intention of carving a pumpkin this year, but that plan was ruined. You can see Roomie carved hers on the left. Mine on the right, however, got carved by squirrels instead...
