Finish What You Started

No one ever really keeps their New Years resolutions...but I decided to make a few anyways.

Better Manage Money
I'm 22 years old. I'm graduating in May and still somehow don't know where I spend half of my money. Pretty soon I will no longer be able to blame my lack of funds on being a poor college student and I think it's time to start making budgets and sticking to them.

Be Less Selfish
I know everyone tells me how sweet I am...but in reality I'm pretty selfish. I need to start thinking of others more and not take those around me for granted. I complain all the time when in reality...there is little in my life I should be unhappy about.

Give Back To The Community
While this goes along with being less selfish...I would really like to start being more involved in community service projects. There are so many people who need a little extra help and giving some of your time and money is always rewarding. Someday I'd love to do another mission trip...whether it is with church or maybe even for x-ray.

Run A Half Marathon
I ran a 10k last summer with little training and survived...so I think I need to set my goals a little higher. And at what other time in my life will I be in this kind of shape and have time to train? The "See Jane Run" half marathon is in June and the motto is "We run for wine and chocolate." What could be better than that?!

Exercise More Regularly
Ok...I know I am not fat. And I make it to the gym every once in awhile. But I usually have to force myself. I would really like to make working out more of a routine so hopefully it is something I will make time for the rest of my life.

Attend Church More Often
I rarely go to church in Boise, and I'd really like to change that. There are so many churches and I have so many friends I could go with. It only takes a couple hours out of your weekend and I have no excuse not to go. Hopefully I can find a church and a service that I really enjoy so it makes waking up early seem worthwhile.
