I Just Wanna See You Strip

So I have this friend of a friend...who writes this AMAZING blog called The Unlost that I follow pretty religiously. She posts about life and love and finding a sense of purpose. It's awesome stuff...you should check it out!

Well this last week she challenged us to "get naked...cause we're going streaking!" Don't be alarmed...as much as I love being pantless...I did not in fact go streaking. It was an exercise to strip ourselves of the fronts we put on in public and expose who we truly are: our hopes, fears, and insecurities.

It was easier to have this posted on The Unlost website anonymously...but I figured I should share it on here as well. Here goes nothing!

You can see others' naked selves and even jump in on the action yourself over at The Unlost: We're Going Streaking!

Wild Ones

Meet the newest member of our family...Mosby!! We originally wanted to name him Swarley after an episode of How I Met Your Mother...but it just didn't catch on. Which is sad...because it had so many great nicknames! (Swarles Barkley, Bob Swarley, Swarhili...). Although Ted is our least favorite HIMYM character...Mosby is a pretty cute name for a cat. We got him from the Humane Society...he'd been there for almost 4 months! While he was sweet at first...we have come to learn he is absolutely CRAZY! But we still love him anyways. And love putting him in ugly Christmas sweaters. Rest assured he'll have a Halloween costume as well...

Love Is A Verb

Summer is wedding season! And this year was no different.

First was a quick trip back home for a childhood friend! Left Friday after work and was back on Sunday. G. and I used to ride the bus home from school together...that's how long we've been friends. Her wedding was the cutest little country wedding on the beautiful Palouse...I loved it!

As usual...A. was my road trip buddy!! Two weeks later we headed back home again for ANOTHER marathon weekend. Less than 48 hours home...but it's always nice to see family and friends. And weddings are the perfect excuse.

This time it was J.'s wedding...another childhood friend! We've gone to the same church forever and bonded on a mission trip to Mexico in high school. She was a beautiful bride and it was so fun catching up with friends.

And finally...K's wedding in Baker! I thought I wasn't going to be able to make it...but at the last minute I didn't have to work, so I decided to embrace spontaneity and go! K. and J. are the cutest couple and I'm so happy for them! One of the prettiest weddings I've ever been to and the funnest reception! So much dancing (and drinking)...it was a blast!

Spent the wedding with my partner in crime A! So sad she's going back to England :(

I love this girl! Couldn't imagine a better wedding going lover :) She's the ultimate bridesmaid!
